A Dream Within a Dream: The Bardo

"We are no other than a moving row of Magic Shadow-shapes that come and go." - The Rubaiyat, Omar Khayyan

Images and film explore the liminal spaces between death and rebirth. For this series, film negatives taken with my vintage Hasselblad that might be cut, melted, or scratched are integrated with litho film positives and negatives, ink painting, and digitally-created text. They interpolate a visual vocabulary for death and transformation based on Juan Rulfo's "Pedro Paramo."
